Jeffrey S. Lyons, a lawyer and community leader, formed the Lyons Group in 2000. During his legal career, Mr. Lyons pioneered class actions lawsuits in Canada. A multi-million dollar suit against The Ford Motor Company encouraged all car manufacturers in North America to embark on a rust prevention program; a program which today offers a 5-year perforation guarantee.
	Jeff has been involved in many public organizations. Highlights of his career include directorships with the Greater Toronto Airport Authority, VIA Rail Canada, Ontario Place and on the Executive Committee of the Chinese Cultural Center of Greater Toronto. He has served as Chairman for several major organizations, including the Toronto Transit Commission, Gray Coach Lines Limited and Trentway-Wagar Properties. Currently, Mr. Lyons is Chairman of the Jays Care Foundation the charitable arm of the Toronto Blue Jays. Jeff was also Vice Chairman of the Toronto Police Services Board and President of the  Expo'98 Consortium. Mr. Lyons is a graduate of the University of Toronto Law School. He was appointed Queen's Counsel in 1977 and served as a bencher on the governing board of the Law Society of Upper Canada from 1983 to 1991.
